One informative article warns that consumers should be conscious of the fact that flood-damaged cars and trucks will soon be hitting salvage yards all across the nation. What does this mean to you? If your car or truck is damaged in an accident, regardless of where you live, it is possible that your insurance company or its network repair shop will try to convince you that recycled parts from Katrina cars in your neighborhood junkyard are really not contaminated and you should allow them to be used on your car to hold down repair costs.
