It matters little what rules and laws vehicle manufacturers must live by as they build cars, if after a wreck a body shop can rebuild a damaged car to a lesser level of quality than the original manufacturer intended and get away with . The bottom line is that because so few consumers have used cars inspected prior to making a purchase, shops often cut corners and make a pile of money for performing shoddy work, and consumers make their purchases none the wiser. All consumers should be aware that is how cars are supposed to be repaired if they are expected to withstand a future crash.
